Registration, Travel, and Lodging

Early bird registration will open on February 7, 2025!

All individuals, including presenters and spectators, who attend GURP are required to register. If an abstract is accepted, presenters must register for the meeting.  If a family member or close friend wishes to attend a presentation and will not be involved in any other activities during the event, they do not need to register. However, the presenter must send an email to gurp@kennesaw.edu by Tuesday, March 25, to request a visitor badge. All work conducted by a student will be eligible to be presented at the meeting regardless of graduation status in Spring 2025.

Online registration by March 29, 2025 prior to the conference is strongly encouraged although onsite registration will be available.

No refunds will be offered. If you are unable to attend after registering, you may transfer your registration to another attendee by notifying the GURP organizing committee at gurp@kennesaw.edu. High school students and their sponsoring teachers should email: gurp@kennesaw.edu for registration information.

  1. At the bottom of the page, select your appropriate affiliation.
  2. Leave quantity = 1. Click on "add to cart."
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and complete the registration form. Please note you must fill in all fields or the system will not allow you to progress to the checkout screen. Click "Continue."
  4. Review the items in your shopping cart and select "Checkout."
  5. Enter your email address and select "Checkout as Guest."
  6. Select your payment method and complete the questions on this screen. Select "Continue"
  7. Review the information on the page and then click "Submit your order." A copy of the receipt will be emailed to you for your records.

Travel and Hotel Accommodations

Directions to the Conference Location

All conference sessions will be held on the Kennesaw campus of Kennesaw State University. Attendees traveling to campus via I-75 will exit at Chastain Road and head west toward campus. Attendees will receive more specific location details and a full conference program after registering for the conference.

Hotel accommodation is not included in the cost of conference registration. Attendees should arrange their own hotel accommodation. There are several hotels within a 1-mile radius of campus (listed below). However, GURP does not endorse any particular hotel.
